Coach Bryant always maintains the right “push-pull balance” to get the most out of his athletes. Bryant gets the most out of me, even when I don’t want to give it…and always does it with a smile (ok, usually). Bryant’s training methods and system works, creating manageable steps for me to build my foundation that ultimately helps me achieve my desired results each race season.
“The computrainer system outputs an overwhelming bunch of numbers. Bryant is fantastic at interpreting all the numbers, knowing what is important at the this moment and what is important to watch as the season progresses to be at your peak fitness for the target event.
Bryant is great at keeping everyone informed, together and safe when riding the early season outdoor bike rides.
Bryant keeps the energy high, and coaching constant during the long and/or intense indoor trainer sessions which I appreciate beyonds words.”
“Not long after I started working out with the She-Rah group at 02, I realized strength I didn’t know I had. That’s the best part. Bryant and Remy know my ability better than I do. I have even started challenging my nephew (who plays high school football) to push-up challenges at family
parties. I am very happy with the small group format. The women I have met inspire me too.”
“It was the summer of 2013 and I was training for my first Ironman. Cycling was a real struggle for me. I was worried (more like scared) that I wouldn’t make the bike cutoff and all my training would be for nothing. My coach at the time recommended that I work with Bryant to determine where my cycling weaknesses were and then plot a course on how to improve. The work I’ve done with Bryant has been incredible. His system of development for strength, speed and endurance is phenomenal. Through the emotional ups and downs of training as well as dealing with injuries, Bryant understands how to help an athlete progress. Today, all of my training (swim, bike, run and strength) is now under Coach Bryant. He has helped me become a stronger, faster and more confident athlete. I’m now a two time Ironman finisher, thanks Coach Bryant!”
“When Heidi & I first heard about Bryant’s “All Women’s Try It Triathlon” we were both interested but terrified! The swim seemed paralyzingly hard! But, we agreed to do it together so it would not be so scary. It’s obvious Bryant has a heart for people. He has a unique gift of making the paralyzingly scary a “do-able challenge”. We had so much fun that we signed up for everything he offered. Running and biking was a blast because we were doing it with a group and literally cheering each other on every step and every mile. The more experienced athletes have been very generous about sharing their skill and knowledge. It is easier to be consistent when you really like the people you’re training with! Bryant & Janet have continued to make it fun, whatever it is. I feel so blessed to still be a part of O2 Endurance. Thanks, You’re doing a fabulous job!”
“What I most appreciate about Bryant is his ability to work with each athlete on a unique, one-on-one basis. He understands our individual strengths, weaknesses and personalities and with that is able to bring out the best from each of us. He also recognizes the aspects of life that affect us and our training and respects those, whether that be faith, family or work related matters. I think he truly enables each of us to be the best athlete that we can be. I started training with Bryant when I was 60 years old, and never ever anticipated I would be a competitive athlete, competing in a world championship at age 66!
Bryant, you have a gift and a talent, and it is not ( or not only) running/biking/swimming fast. It is being sensitive to the abilities, personalities, strengths and weaknesses of others, relating to them on an individual basis, and using that to enable others to be the best athletes they can be. You also express and model core values that I appreciate which go far beyond the swimming pool, track and training center. Thank you for being a part of my life.”
“I started working out w/ Bryant/O2E in 2013 after seeing his training groups in my neighborhood. Through 2 seasons of training he has guided me to a level of fitness I have not achieved in a long time. He has real world experience training athletes of all ages, abilities and goals. His methods are clear and effective. The O2E team, training center and club combine to provide a lot of training options with a friendly, motivational and supportive team atmosphere. Whether your goals include podium appearances at multi-sport events, or just getting into better shape for weekend rides and runs Bryant and O2 Endurance provide an ideal foundation.”
“O2E through Bryant’s coaching has been life changing for me. I’m in the best shape of my life and swim, bike, and run faster at 49 than I did in my
“I have been training with Bryant for over 5 years now. He is an outstanding coach and I owe it all to him for helping me realize my most proud achievement!”
“I met Bryant Howard in the fall 2013, after being referred to him by 2 Ironman friends of mine, both of whom separately mentioned to me that he was THE coach to work with for Ironman training. Boy were they right! Bryant staged out my training for me personally, and worked closely with me to get me ready for race day and stay injury free along the way. This was my first full-distance Ironman, and I had recently recovered from broken bones in both feet. He is passionate, knowledgeable, trustworthy, motivational, inspirational, caring and truly has a Coach’s gift. He possesses an energy that positively influences those around him to become a stronger, healthier, better version of themselves. He is available for questions or concerns at all stages of training, and welcomes a good challenge. I enjoy working with Bryant in both group settings, where he tailors the group energy and dynamic to help each person there with individual goals, as well as individual sessions when the focus is truly trained on the specific goals of the athlete. I look forward to setting new goals, and continuing to work with Bryant Howard to crush them!”
“When I started training with Coach Bryant with the dream of completing a triathlon I had no multisport experience, I was terrified of open water swimming, and had never ridden my bike more than 5 miles. With Bryant’s skillful coaching and support I have exceeded my expectations. At age 51 I’m running faster than I ever have in my life, I’ve competed in more than a dozen triathlons including a 70.3 long course distance, and each year I improve my finish time. Most importantly, I’ve learned to “get comfortable with being uncomfortable” and embrace goals that consistently push me outside my comfort zone. Today I am my best self and I credit Coach Bryant and the O2 Endurance team for helping me realize my potential.”
“I met Bryant a month after I retired when he was coaching at River Place Athletic Club. It was the best thing that could have happened. I had already done one triathlon and was hooked, Bryant was just the coach I needed to figure out how to excel and not just finish. Over the next 5 years that I have trained with Bryant he has helped to push me, but also has helped me to figure out how to rest and renew; a new concept for me and one I haven’t quite yet mastered. The people who Bryant draws together for training are an incredibly special group and many have become friends. Bryant always sets the tone of spirited collegiality that brings laughter and fun into the training.
Bryant, you are an amazing person and coach. I’m not sure what I would be doing if I hadn’t found you as a coach, but I know I wouldn’t be working nearly as hard or having nearly as much fun. Thank you for being one of my very favorite people ever!!!”
“I decided to start training for triathlons 6 years ago, and discovered early on that I didn’t have what it took to be a competing swimmer. I sought Bryant out to coach me, little did he know he would have his work cut out. From our very first conversation and meeting, Bryant showed sincere interest in what I wanted to achieve and helped me see what I could become rather than concentrate on where I was. He has always been honest and forthcoming about what effort, time, energy and commitment I would need to put into my training to achieve my goals and has encouraged me all the way. Even though I am a part of a team, Bryant helps me personally identify the areas that I can improve on all the while encouraging us to cheer each other on. My team has become my second family. I have gained overall confidence in not only my swimming, but running and biking as well. I am so grateful that I met Bryant. He is not only a dedicated coach and trainer but a friend. He is passionate about helping others achieve their goals and truly makes you believe that you can achieve anything you put your mind to. I am living proof that his training works.”
“I started working with Bryant and training the the O2 Endurance team after consistently coming in second place at races I really wanted to to win. After an undefeated season this year I am beyond thrilled to have found a Coach that “get’s me” and a team that supports me.”
